Current connection status
Cricket data is provided by Sportmonks Cricket API 2.0. The API token stays on the STAR BUZZ server. Sportmonks is a data provider, not an official competition rights holder, and the visible records are limited to competitions available under the connected plan.
Schedule time and update time are different
A scheduled time indicates when a match is expected to start. A source update time indicates when the provider last changed or issued a record. A feed retrieval time indicates when STAR BUZZ received it. These labels are not interchangeable.
Match state labels
STAR BUZZ preserves specific states such as scheduled, starting, live, innings break, scheduled break, delayed, interrupted, stumps, completed, abandoned, cancelled and postponed. A returned live endpoint record is not automatically described as actively changing.
Refresh and caching
When genuine live records exist, the visible live page requests a refresh every 8–11 seconds through one shared browser query. A seven-second database-backed server snapshot and distributed lock prevent simultaneous visitors from multiplying upstream traffic. Fixtures and terminal results use slower caches. The interval is a request cadence, not a guarantee that the provider changes a score within eleven seconds.
Missing or delayed information
A missing score, venue or result note is shown with a neutral dash or an unavailable label. During an upstream interruption, STAR BUZZ shows a degraded or “Updates delayed” state and the relevant retrieval time. We do not silently present stale data as current and never replace provider errors with demonstration matches.
